This year's Eccentrick Art Show was a complete success, yet very interesting. As a fellow Mary Ward student, I was glad to help set up the Art Show. There were many interesting artifacts that were displayed in the Art Show which amazed me and those who visited the Art Show. I helped set up the Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride, where people sit down and watch the screen. When the visitors watched the screen, it looked like they were actually flying and the video would show people's houses that the tech students created on Google Sketchup. My job in the Art Show was security, where I would have to check if the visitors have the stamp to verify that they paid for their ticket, otherwise they are not permitted to enter the Art Show. Also, the maze was so cool in Art, where they would have to walk inside and travel their way around the maze. I'm pretty amazed at how much effort the students and teachers took to set up the Eccentrick Art Show and made it a fantastic Art Show.
Tickets were sold out very fast when the tickets for the Eccentrick Art Show was distributed. Lots of money were raised for the school, and many schools came and visited Mary Ward just to see the Art Show. More than 10 schools visited Mary Ward, and the tech students helped tour them around the tech area. I enjoyed the Art Show at Mary Ward because it was full of surprises and pretty eye-catching. There were lots of interesting artifacts which amazed me.
